Even though there are many ways to start with cleaning, most of the cleaning process might turn out to be not healthy for the environment because of the use of chemicals. If you are someone who is pretty concerned about environmental issues, then normal cleaning might feel a little frustrating.

This is when you can adopt natural cleaning or so-called eco-friendly cleaning. Natural cleaning just means cleaning with natural, eco-friendly materials. This can include cleaning materials that are normally found in your kitchen like vinegar, baking soda. citrus fruit, lemon, etc... You can also make use of empty spray bottles and cotton cloths for cleaning.

Some natural cleaners you can find at your home

White Vinegar: White vinegar is one of the most used house cleaning agents. Because of its acidic properties vinegar is used to clean hard stains like rust and clean glassy surfaces.

Sodium Bicarbonate/Baking Soda: Baking soda is used to clean steel objects as it can easily rub off rust and give materials a shiny look. You can use it by dipping it in a cotton cloth and rubbing rusty materials.

Borax or Sodium Borate: This is similar to baking soda because both of them are almost the same mixtures but Borax being slightly stronger than Baking Soda. It can be used to remove stains from materials like clothes.

You can mix these up to make different types of cleaning solutions.

DIY Cleaning Solutions

Baking Soda Solution:

What you'll need:

4 tablespoons baking soda

1-quart warm water

Mix 4 ts of baking soda and warm water. It is a simple solution to get rid of rust and other dirt from your kitchen utensils.

Glass Cleaner

What you'll need:

2 cups water

1/4 cup rubbing alcohol 70% concentration

1/2 cup white or cider vinegar

1 to 2 drops of orange essential oil

This solution will help your mirrors shine glossier and will give you a new look.

There are many cleaning solutions out there that can be mix and matched.

Professional cleaning services are less likely to use any of these cleaning solutions because most of them are not so eco friendly
