Glazed porcelain tile:

Glazed porcelain tiles are also made in the same way as unglazed tile. The only difference is that a thin layer of glass is added to the exterior. This causes coated tiles to be more gleaming and also allows the addition of various colors and prints.


Tips for cleaning glazed porcelain tiles

  1. Remove Dust and Dirt: For cleaning your tiles use a good broom, dust mop, or vacuum. This will help in removing dirt and dust and help you to get a better result. Always try to use a soft broom or dust mop. Because it has a microfiber pad that can collect dust, dirt, and hair. You can also use a nylon brush to scrub the dirt.

  2. Remove Stains: It can be disappointing to find stains on your coated porcelain tiles. In any case, it is easy to clean tiles with the correct apparatuses and arrangement. You can use commercial products or white vinegar for cleaning the wall tiles.

  3. Mop the entire floor: After removing the stains you should mop your entire floor. Using vinegar is very helpful as it brings out its shiny exterior.

  4. Wipe to dry: After mopping you should dry the floor. It is necessary to dry the glazed tiles because standing water could cause watermarks. For wiping the floor you can use a cloth or clean towel.

Textured porcelain tile:

These are made to bear a resemblance to other sorts of flooring such as natural stone and hardwood.


Tips for cleaning Textured porcelain tiles:

  1. Sweep with a broom: Textured tiles are made to look like natural stones so, they have more places where dust can hide. Sweeping the floor. Sweeping thoroughly through your floor will help in cleaning your tile free from dirt and dust.

  2. Mop with Mild cleaner: After removing the dust use a microfiber mop and a delicate solution that’s safe for the surface. Finally use a soft cloth or towel for drying the floor.
